Celebrate Freedom Day in Taylor, Texas!
Juneteenth is a national holiday in observance of the emancipation (freeing) of slaves in the U.S. This holiday started right here in Texas, where slaves were freed June 19, 1865, three years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
The Taylor, TX Juneteenth Committee will kickoff the citywide Juneteenth celebration with the Annual Parade & Brunch on June 20, 2026 starting at 9am. The Festival will take place from 5:00PM – 9:00PM in Fannie Robinson Park, Taylor, Texas.
